郝柏村逝…新加坡總理李顯龍：感謝他為兩岸及星國諸多貢獻

前行政院長郝柏村於中華民國109年3月30日與世長辭，享嵩壽101歲。對此，新加坡總理李顯龍4月2日在臉書發文表達哀悼之意；李顯龍直言，郝柏村為台灣安全、福祉、兩岸關係與台星雙邊關係做出許多貢獻。

李顯龍2日在臉書上PO文表示，台灣前行政院長郝柏村逝世，享年101歲，深感難過；「郝先生是一位受人尊敬的領導人，他為台灣的安全與福祉，兩岸關係以及我們的雙邊關係做出了許多貢獻」。

李顯龍指出，郝柏村與李光耀有著長期的密切友誼。李光耀去世後，郝柏村也有到新加坡表示敬意，並參加了國葬。

李顯龍提到，他在1974年以年輕軍官身份首次見到郝柏村。多年來，兩人在各種會談中保持聯繫。1985年，他拜訪郝柏村時，郝給了他一本James Legge的儒家經典「四書」的譯文，他也將「四書」作為寶貴財產之一。

李顯龍回憶，我們最近一次見面，約是三年前的時候，那年郝柏村97歲，還跟著朋友一起去新加坡打高爾夫球！李顯龍說到，郝柏村過著充實的生活。李顯龍將郝柏村銘記為新加坡的好朋友。「在這個失落的時刻，我們的想法與台灣人民在一起」李顯龍強調。

李顯龍也在貼文中，貼出一張2015年郝柏村到李光耀的國葬典禮前敬禮的照片，表達致敬、緬懷之意。

李顯龍的貼文，獲得超過5700多名網友按讚，另有近200則留言及分享文章。

郝柏村歷任我國最長任期八年參謀總長、國防部長、行政院長，是我中華民國陸軍一級上將退役。

李顯龍臉書悼念郝柏村，全文如下：

Deeply saddened by the passing of former Premier Hau Pei-tsun from Taiwan, aged 101.

Mr Hau was a deeply respected leader, who made many contributions to the security and well being of Taiwan and to cross-strait relations, as well as to our bilateral ties.

Mr Hau shared a close and long-standing friendship with my father. When Mr Lee died, he came to pay his last respects, and attended the state funeral.

I first met Mr Hau in 1974 as a young officer. Over the years we have kept in touch, in our various appointments. When I called on him in 1985, he presented me a copy of James Legge’s translation of 四书 ‘The Four Books’, the Confucian classic. I have kept it as one of my prized possessions.

Most recently we met 3 years ago, when at the age of 97 he came with friends on a golfing holiday to Singapore!

Mr Hau lived a long and full life. He will be remembered as a dear friend of Singapore. Our thoughts are with the people of Taiwan at this moment of loss. – LHL
